Analog is a cutting-edge Layer 0 cross-chain communication protocol designed to address the growing need for seamless interoperability among various blockchains. Today Analog invites CoinList community members to participate in its incentivized testnet and earn a portion of the 1,811,594 ANLOG tokens (2.0% of the total supply).
Analog’s incentivized testnet is an opportunity for node operators, developers, and community members to earn rewards by battle-testing the network through quests and individual efforts that contribute to the protocol’s development.
The Analog Testnet’s key objectives are:
Analog Incentivized Testnet Details | |
Program | Analog Incentivized Testnet (Phase 1, 2 and 3) |
Eligibility | Certain jurisdictional limitations apply (i.e. users must be non-U.S./Canada and OFAC compliant), as outlined here. |
Participation Limit | Developers: Unlimited Community: Unlimited Validators: Userscan apply, applications that pass review can validate for Analog |
Timeline* | Each of the 3 phases of the Analog Incentivized Testnet will last approximately 3 months in duration. Phase 1: April 16, 2024
|
Allocated Rewards | Approximately 1,811,594 ANLOG tokens (2.0% of the token supply). Analog reserves the right to increase the allocation at a later stage. 30% of the token rewards will be allocated to validators, and the remaining 70% will be allocated across community and developers. |

Start date: April 16, 2024
Duration: ~3 months
In the first phase of the Analog Testnet, the Analog team invites the developer community to engage with the Timechain and particularly the Analog Watch App. The goal is for developers to test the user experience of listing contracts, querying data, and constructing Watch views. Analog anticipates that hundreds of community -built Views will source data from Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and other chains in a decentralized manner, showcasing the interoperability and versatility of Analog’s platform.
Start date: April 30, 2024
Duration: ~3 months
In the second phase of the testnet, the doors open to the broader community, introducing a series of social quests and a captivating game on the Time Chain. This Watch Game is designed to highlight the real-world applications of the Analog Watch, providing an interactive and engaging experience for participants. Concurrently, developers will be invited to explore and test the GMP SDK, as well as participate in the Watch Game, further solidifying their involvement in the ecosystem and contributing to the refinement of the Analog platform.
Start date: May 15, 2024
Duration: ~3 months
The third phase of the Analog testnet aims to acquire validators. Participants will be rewarded with Analog tokens, with the distribution being proportional to their contribution to the network's operation. These incentives will be calculated based on metrics such as uptime and active participation, ensuring that those who play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the network are duly recognized and compensated.

Analog is a pioneering Layer 0 cross-chain communication protocol engineered to facilitate seamless interoperability across diverse blockchains. With the advent of multiple Layer 1 and Layer 2 platforms, the demand for composability between these systems is set to escalate. This encompasses not only the tokens issued across these projects but also dApps that possess cross-chain functionalities or that can be enhanced by leveraging dApps from other chains. Analog’s products are uniquely designed to address these interoperability challenges:
Timechain: Timechain serves as a state replication machine (SMR), preserving validated data from various interconnected chains. It provides a straightforward interface for developers and users to access data from any linked blockchain, enabling interoperability and streamlining cross-chain communication.
GMP Protocol: The Generic Message Passing (GMP) protocol lies at the heart of the Analog Network's interoperability capabilities. It empowers developers to create cross-chain applications that maintain coherent application logic, shared states, and efficient liquidity usage. The GMP protocol ensures a seamless user experience across disparate blockchain ecosystems, simplifying interactions and transactions.
Analog Watch: Also known as the Query Marketplace, Analog Watch is a developer-centric product powered by the Timegraph SDK. It offers users and dApps an intuitive interface to query any desired data from smart contracts on connected chains. Analog Watch functions as a marketplace for on-chain data feeds, allowing users to specify their data requirements and access the information with ease.
In summary, the GMP protocol and the architecture of the Analog Network are instrumental in delivering a one-click user experience within a multi-chain ecosystem, enabling seamless asset transfers, coherent application logic, and enhanced liquidity efficiency across various chains.
