VPNbot allows you to securely provision Wireguard VPNs through a Keybase bot, and pay for them with Stellar.
Our goal with VPNbot is to onboard new users to crypto, by introducing them to Stellar + Keybase ecosystem. Our mission is to combine privacy, security, and distributed trust with a great user experience. We’re also hoping to inspire other developers to build Keybase bots and showcase the benefits of the Stellar as a payment protocol.
VPNbot uses Wireguard, which is fast, secure, fully open source and easily configurable VPN. You can self host it, or let us run the VPNs on your behalf through Google Cloud/AWS/etc. Because Keybase is e2e encrypted, we can securely send VPN credientials to a user through the bot.
Traction: So far 30+ people have written in to use VPNbot. I have been posting about it in various Keybase teams and channels, and there seems to be a ton of excitement around it. Some people want to self host, but many seem interest in paying for it as a service.

As part of this project, I also hacked together keybasebots.com. I realized that there was no central place for keybase bots and decided to take a few hours and put together a site that I hope will be beneficial to the stellar community and help drive awareness to the keybase platform. I know keybase is getting a lot of hype right now due to the Spacedrop, but its still a relatively young platform compared to Slack, Discord, Telegram etc. I think keybase can really help grow the Stellar ecosystem as a whole and I've been super impressed with their product. Im hoping more developers jump on board, and that VPNbot helps showcase the value of keybase + xlm as an ecosystem developers can profit from
