Phase 1 of the Horus 2.0 Testnet was a resounding success, generating widespread enthusiasm among our community. It saw the establishment of over 6,000 staking nodes, and participation in all incentive initiatives exceeded 20,000.
In response to this overwhelming demand, we're thrilled to announce enhanced testing rewards, expanding their reach and rewarding outstanding contributors even more generously. This is an opportunity for node operators and community members to earn rewards by battle-testing the network, its reward mechanisms, and actively contributing early to the protocol. The NuLink Horus 2.0 Testnet event will be offering 5,000,000 tokens (~0.5% of the total token supply) to qualifying participants for their valuable contributions.

In Phase 2, the Horus 2.0 Testnet aims to validate the foundational components essential for the NuLink network. Core functionalities, including the staking dashboard, worker nodes, NuLink Agent, and demo DApp, will undergo rigorous testing. The objective is to ensure stability, security, and seamless integration, establishing a solid groundwork for subsequent phases.

Building upon the core functionalities, Phase 3 introduces more advanced features and conducts extensive tests to ensure scalability and robustness. Multiple chain support, storage fee management, third-party DApp integration, and other enhancements will be thoroughly tested, involving an expanded set of validators.

NuLink Network has dedicated 0.5% (5,000,000 NLK) of the total token supply for the Horus 2.0 Testnet Program. Approximately 0.1% (1,000,000 NLK) will be utilized to reward experienced node runners, while the remaining 0.4% (4,000,000 NLK) is earmarked for rewarding non-technical participants. The detailed rules are outlined below. All the rewards will vest over 12 months after the TGE (Token Generation Event).
Applicants are required to complete an application form for enrollment. A total of 1,000 staking nodes will be chosen based on the cumulative rewards accrued by each participant. There are ten reward levels in total, and your rank, determined by your cumulative rewards, will dictate your reward level. In essence, the higher your cumulative rewards, the higher your rank, leading to an increased reward level and more significant rewards.
