Introduction

OpenLedger, backed by Polychain Capital and Borderless Capital, is a data blockchain for AI that provides a decentralized trust infrastructure for creating specialized language models. By leveraging datanets to collect and curate data, OpenLedger enables the development of these models, which are then consumed by AI agents, chatbots, copilots, and various other applications.

OpenLedger is starting their testnet phase with the Data Intelligence layer. The main goals of the testnet is to build this data intelligence layer by leveraging the community’s unused bandwidth through worker nodes, and to create specialized data collections for exclusive models in areas like decentralized science, gaming, and Web3 development datanets.

Rewards 51% of the total token supply will be allocated to the OpenLedger Community, which includes testnet participants, validators, grants, and more. The total percentage allocated to testnet participants is to be determined by OpenLedger.

    Rewards

    For the testnet campaign, users will earn reward points based on the amount of data provided. Points earned by providing data will be converted to OPN tokens at a later date — conversion rates will be announced closer to TGE.

    Total Allocation for the Community: 51%

    The Community Allocation includes rewards for testnet participants, incentives for model builders and validators, grants for developers creating innovative solutions, community events, ambassador programs, block rewards, and strategic partnerships to foster sustainable growth.

    Timeline

    The testnet is expected to run from December 23, 2024 until February 22, 2025. The timeline is subject to change at the sole discretion of OpenLedger.

      Reward high-quality data contributions with tokens and ensure data accuracy through validator staking mechanisms. Validators face token slashing for poor validation, maintaining accountability and reliability
    2. Access to Premium Resources
      OPN tokens enable access to premium datasets, AI models, and advanced tools, serving developers and enterprises within the OpenLedger ecosystem
    3. Network Governance and Decision-Making
      Token holders participate in governance by voting on protocol upgrades, feature implementations, and community fund allocation, ensuring decentralized decision-making
    4. Validator and Ecosystem Rewards
      Validators, miners, and participants securing the network or contributing to its growth are rewarded with tokens, fostering sustainability and incentivizing engagement
    5. Transaction Medium and Ecosystem Growth
