Tokenholders can stake $REYA, securing the breakthrough based-rollup design. In doing so, stakers receive benefits such as additional $REYA distributions, discounted trading fees and governance rights.
The REYA token design achieves three objectives:
Trading and liquidation fees are distributed to key participants within the Reya Ecosystem, including the Assistance Fund.
The Assistance Fund executes buybacks. Uniquely, it buys REYA and ETH according to an 80% - 20% split. As trading activity on Reya increases, buybacks increase too, creating a natural flywheel for REYA and ETH holders.
