Swarm is a system of peer-to-peer networked nodes that create a decentralized storage and communication service. The system is economically self-sustaining thanks to a built-in incentive system enforced through smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain.
The architecture makes the system resilient to connectivity issues, node churn, or targeted DDOS attacks, and enables a zero-downtime service.
About Bee
Bee is a Swarm client implemented in Go. It’s the basic building block for the Swarm Network and the first client implementation.
Bee provides high-level constructs for file storage, feeds, and key-value stores, while also providing low-level access to other applications and libraries that create Single Owner and Trojan chunks on the client side.

The BZZ token is the native asset for the Swarm Network. It enables bandwidth and storage incentives. These incentives make sure node operators are aligned and motivated to run and maintain the network.
Following mainnet launch and token deployment and distribution, it is anticipated that a decentralized bonding curve vending machine, with minting and burning rights, will be available to allow interested persons to acquire BZZ for DAI or to sell BZZ for DAI.
